Festival News: Live At Leeds - The Ultimate Festival Day Out

An essential date in the summer festival diary for any avid indie-lovers, Live at Leeds continues to emerge as one of the best new festivals in the country. Curating a line-up of established indie acts and hot favourites whilst championing new household names, is Live at Leeds Modus Operandi.

Join the stacked bill celebrating indie/alternative music at Live at Leeds this year, as the likes of both indie titans Sea Girls, Circa Waves, soul-rooted songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae and alt-pop Irish singer-songwriter Orla Gartland join the fray of an already jammed line-up. With Circa Waves eager to return to Leeds and Corinne performing a special hometown show, the festival is set to be one hotly-contested date in the ol' calendar.

Bringing together new names is crucial to our live music industry striving and thriving and the avid tastemakers behind the scenes at LaL are no different. The South Coast's new rock heroes of Hotwax also enter the fray while Glaswegian post-punk rockers Lucia & the Best Boys bring a musical tour de force that will no doubt hit hard amongst festival season this year. Both soloist Tom A. Smith and four-piece group The Clause are also soon-to-be household cultivators in their own right, as they take to the stage with their soulful colours and 80s-esque groove.

These new additions join a who’s who bill to make Live At Leeds: In The Park the perfect summer indie celebration. With festival headliners The Kooks leading the way with their soaring anthems, the likes of Declan McKenna, The Cribs, Future Islands, White Lies, Melanie C, Mystery Jets, The Academic, The Mysterines, Vistas, The Slow Readers Club, Sprints and more make up a festival experience perfect for fans looking to discover their next favourite band.

After an incredibly triumphant inaugural year, Live At Leeds: In The Park’s return on Saturday 25th May kickstarts festival season the right way. Make sure you're there at the front and centre of it all!
