The incredible talent Ruti releases her latest single ‘Bubblehouse Bounce (move as one)’.
Ruti is an English singer-songwriter who won the seventh series of The Voice UK. Ruti released her debut album All at Once in 2019. She has since released many incredible projects including ‘Nothing’s Easy’ and ‘MixTea_MilkTape!’ released last summer.
Inspired by many genres including R&B, pop, folk as well as Jazz and Soul influences. Ruti Is a force to be reconned with, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter showcases the perfect blend of soulfulness and R&B. With a beautiful voice, anyone and everyone will love Ruti.
Ruti’s latest track is no different, a collaboration with Khushi sees Ruti experimenting with dance music and alternative pop. ‘Bubblehouse Bounce (move as one)’ features an incredible bass line, samples and drum work that compliments Ruti’s stunning vocals.
When creating her latest single Ruti describes the experience as “a happy accident really. It all stemmed from just messing around with some crushed Tom drum samples in my apartment. I’ve never made a dance track before, but I knew I wanted to write about finding belonging and community through dance and celebration. You know those nights when you don’t really wanna go out for whatever reason, but you do and you end up having an amazing time because you feel free. You kinda become one with the crowd and don’t have to carry weight on your own.”
Ruti’s latest track is another example of her incredible talent, Ruti’s mixtape ‘MixTea_MilTape!’ Did incredibly well after its release last summer, a mix tape that features popular tracks ‘Luh Luh Love’ and ‘Don’t Wait’. Ruti was inspired by Stevie Wonder throughout this Mix Tape, and it shows in her incredible results.
Ruti’s love for music spans many decades, her love of contemporary artists ranges from Lady Gaga, Charlie XCX to Rina Sawayama. Ruti has no limit, she creates music she’s passionate about no matter the genre or constraints in her way. Whatever genre or style Ruti chooses you can recognise her music from a mile away her style and distinct vocals create a unique experience that will leave you wanting to return again and again.
