Ġenn - 'Feel'
Ġenn are bringing psychedelic to the forefront with their genre-blending new single ‘Feel’.
This quartet have really carved out their sound, with a preference to melt your brain with their ferocious post-punk sound which brought the four-piece right to the forefront with their 2018 debut ‘Titty Monster’.
These Brighton-based four had a very fruitful 2020 in spite of everything with recognition on both a national and international scale. 2020 also inspired their new EP ‘Liminal’ which is expected to come out at the end of March, with their previous single ‘23rd March’ directly inspired by the life-changing events of March 2020.
‘Feel’ is the next chapter in ‘Liminal’ which is a focus on a “relationship with drugs” and dependency which is perfectly complimented brilliantly by a sound that’ inspired by the 1970’s and does detract from their punk sound slightly while complimenting the band’s love of experimentation.
‘Feel’ is a great addition to the of ever-adapting soundscape of Ġenn and only builds anticipation for their new EP which is quickly becoming one of most hotly anticipate releases of 2021.
‘Feel’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and ‘Liminal’ the new EP from Ġenn will be available March 30th.
