Fast Blood - 'Salvation'

Newcastle-based ferocious indie punk outfit FAST BLOOD have just released the video for punching track ‘Salvation’. The single will be followed by their debut album ‘Sunny Blunts’ which will be out on the 3rd of May via Sangre Rapida.
Fast-rising, energetic and powerful punk outfit FAST BLOOD have emerged out of nowhere and are now one of the promises of Newcastle’s punk rock scene. ‘Salvation’ follows on from lead single ‘Sexual Healing’ which was released earlier this year. Their upcoming album release show at The Cumberland Arms on their home turf is already sold out which shows the waves they’ve been making in their local scene.
Commenting on the track, the band say: “‘Salvation’ is an unstoppable burst of energy that takes you through numerous twists and turns in its four minutes, maybe a little poppier than its predecessor, with an anthemic lead vocal and super-catchy guitars held up by frantic drums and a rock-solid bass anchor.” Despite its catchy, poppy hooks, the track is introspective and self-reflective, and comes with lyrics hard to get out of your head after listening!
The upcoming debut LP is hefty and soulful and comes filled with hook-laden and thoughtful tracks, showcasing an open-hearted and honest sound from a band known to make lots of noise. FAST BLOOD have been making a name for themselves in the DIY punk scene in the north east since 2019 and show a relentless and confident sound easy to wrap your ears around. The guitar-heavy sound that introduced us to FAST BLOOD is an addictive one with its thunderous rhythm and piercing vocals.
