Single Review: Bernaccia - 'Power To The Hills' (Radio Edit).

Having released two EPs in the last 12 months; 'Cinema' and 'Light//Dark', Newcastle based five piece Bernaccia are no strangers to the public eye. This year alone they’ve opened for the likes of of Lola Colt, The Fall and Alabama 3, whilst appearing at Tramlines Festival in Sheffield which also boasted some huge names like Basement Jaxx, The Charlatans, Slaves and Fat White Family.

Rumour has it, Bernaccia are in the process of recording their debut album, and when surprise track 'Power To The Hills (Radio Edit)' found its way on to their SoundCloud page earlier this month we reached out to lead vocalist Jonny Noble to give us a better idea of what to expect from the band in the near future:
"The upcoming single will be a self-release from our upcoming album which expected early next year. The process of planning a tour to support the album in the New Year is already under way and we can’t wait for you to hear more!"

If the Radio Edit is anything to go by, be sure to expect from the album an empowering taste of neo-psych desert blues, that you’ll struggle to find elsewhere in this day and age.

'Power To The Hills' will officially be released on Saturday 26th September 2015 (a month tomorrow!) and will be available for download on both iTunes and Bandcamp, as well as in hard copy format. Check back in just over a month for the full single, by which time we think we’ll have a video for you to feast your eyes on too!
