The Band Explains: Beyond The Break - 'The Way It Is' (Video).

Who:
Formed early 2015, Beyond The Break are a rock band from Llanelli, South Wales bringing together members of Catatonia, 21 Against and Eleven. The band consist of  Paul Jones (Vocals, guitar) Richard Thomas-James (Guitar) Chris Francis (Bass) and Aled Richards (Drums).

About The Track:  'The Way It Is' is taken from Beyond The Break's debut E.P ‘Pictures Of Losing Sleep’ which was released Sept 4th on 2p Records.  The track has a grungey alt rock feel to it with big riffs and bass lines, tight drumming and gruff yet melodic vocals building into dirty, dark, anthemic proportions.

The Band Explains: "We wanted the first video to be a performance type video, no nonsense, in keeping with the way we recorded the songs [The EP was recorded as a live performance direct to tape over the space of two weekends] .The song is about some people wanting the past to be forgotten I guess, for their own sake, to feel better. When actually, what they may have done can affect others that can or can't get over it. Forgiveness doesn't always make it ok I suppose."
