The Artist Explains: HÔN - 'Honeydream' (Video).

Who: HÔN is the project of Danish singer-songwriter Jesper Lidang.

About The Track:  'Honeydream' is taken from HÔN's forthcoming album 'White Lion', which will be released on 30th October 2015 via Tambourhinoceros. The track is comprised of  a lo fi/ 80s synth-meets-dream pop sound that features a melancholic chorus, surrounded by hazy, beat-driven verse. It is eloquent and raw, uplifting and ominous and a track to exercise either your feet or your  mind to, if not both!

The Artist Explains: "The video came to place at this famous Danish jazz venue called Jazzhouse. A place that has this David Lynch vs. Jim Jarmusch kind of vibe going on with its heavy drapes, chandeliers and classic cocktailbars. I'm a fan, no doubt. I worked closely with directors Catherine Pattinama Coleman and Kasper Skovsbøl who both graduated from The National Film School in Copenhagen this year. The plot was very simple: a story about unhappy love and desire for that which you do not know or own. The unfulfilled interaction in the video between me and Danish actress Hanne Uldal came to show this emotion quite beautifully and at the same time very awkwardly, which I dig a lot. It became more interesting with me vs. a much older woman, than if we had found some young babe. Hanne is a babe though, don't misjudge what I mean, she is rock'n'roll. Me, I wanted to somehow come out androgynous on stage, like a dancing ghost. I love dancing. Felt like moving like  Depeche Mode's Dave Gahan  in the 'Everything Counts' days I guess. So I did. “ -Jesper (HÔN)
