EP To Watch Out For: Dellux - 'Dreamer' (01/04/2016)

Straight outta Newport, South Wales, 20 year old producer Dellux is set to release debut solo EP Dreamer this Friday, 1st April 2016.

Dell signed to Chase & Status' MTA Records in late 2015. He played his first show at Fabric at the end of the in January alongside the likes of Chase & Status, Frisko, Dimension, and Bonkaz (amongst loads of other big names), and had EP title track 'Dreamer' played on MistaJam's BBC Radio 1xtra show at the beginning of the year.

Despite the success, he's still one of the most down-to-earth blokes you'll meet. When Astroid Boys dropped a freestyle for Radio 1xtra's Sian Anderson he told her, "I'm just chillin'... I just make beats..." and speaking about the deal with MTA Records he said "they really understand the direction of my music and are passionate about my tunes so lets 'av it".

The EP features five tracks, Missing U (available for free download as part of an MTA Records compiliation, here) VIP, Dreamer, Fool, Beat01633 and Pipe Up.

A lack of distinctive genre makes this EP very exciting, bringing together sounds that are recognised by fans of grime and hip-hop, as well as hardcore kids and metalheads alike. Picture a raver moshing and you're nearly there...
