Artist To Check Out: Brandyn Burnette - 'State I'm In' (Single)

Brandyn Burnette unveils the title track taken from his upcoming EP 'State I'm In' due out June 24th, 2016.

What is immediately apparent about Brandyn Burnette is that he can sing.  From the smooth and velvety lows to the killer high notes, Burnette has an impressive vocal range and 'State I'm In' shows this off perfectly, as well as playing around with the tempo and breaking into a flawless hip hop-esque spoken word rhythm. 

With a sound described as progressive soul, 'State I'm In' is saturated in edgy summer vibes. From it's low-key soulful intro to the twitchy, urban bass that flows through the foundations, Burnette's also been doing the majority of his own production and writes his own lyrics, crafting every aspect of his own sound and style.

'State I'm In' follows on from  recent release, down-tempo disco and jazz mash-up, 'Karma' -  "a record about our actions & their ripple effect on our relationships, our community & the world. We all know the old saying 'what goes around comes back around'. Keep your intentions good & do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
