Introducing: Father Owl - 'The Awakening' (Single)
Toronto based outfit Father Owl unveil new single, ' The Awakening' taken from their newly released, self-titled, debut album.
Father Owl offer a subtle yet powerful aural experience through latest track, 'The Awakening', where heartfelt progressive rock melodies, chiming guitars, snaking bass notes and frantic drum beats seep inside the soul and envelop its listener.
Lead singer James Tanner's mesmerising, oozing vocals are somewhat soothing as he brings the metaphorical 'awakening' to life, "It comes alive in the night , where no one brings you down. Like butterflies down inside , but it keeps you on the ground "
On the track the band say: " The Awakening' is about pursuing your passion without the care of outside influence or ridicule. Truly a fun song to perform live and had a lot of great feedback and kind words around this track".
'The Awakening' features on the band's debut concept album, out now, engineered by Walter Sobczak and recorded in Toronto at Revolution Studios. Keep up to date with the band's latest news, and soon to be announced tour dates via their website, here.
