The Band Explains: Vinyl Hero - 'Keith Richards' (Video)

Who: Vinyl Hero are an alternative/rock four-piece based in Montreal.

About The Track:  'Keith Richards' is taken from the band's most recent EP 'Seven Days On A Train' which was released on May 6th. This is gritty alt rock n roll with grizzly vocals and a crazy good guitar solo.

Vocalist Ray Howard comments: "Nobody ever paid tribute to one of, if not, the true king of rock n roll. We wanted to tell that story!"

The Band Explains: Where was the video filmed?
Scotch & Scissors Barber Shop (Montreal ), our bass players home & car and at our rehearsal space.

How does the video compliment the song?
The song is actually about the life of Keith Richards both from his music career with The Rolling Stones and from his personal and Hollywood career as an actor. The video is just about every professional musician trying to life the rock star life.... Keith Richards style.

 Any behind the scenes stories?
Aside from a bunch of bloopers, we just tried to stick to the story line, capture and chose the best scenes for the video.

Tell us about the ideas/ themes/ imagery used?
Well the idea is that everyone in the band is getting ready for the big "VIDEO SHOOT". The reason that there are other members of the band playing around every individual's personal scene is because the only thing that each one is thinking about it how the rest of the band will preform at the shoot. That is another reason why there is no real interaction with the other members in those scenes, seeing how its all in the individuals heads.

What is the message the video is trying to convey?

Times are tough for musicians that are trying to break into the industry. But with patience, trust, positive energy and a good work ethic, there's always going to be a chance that you will be heard and/or noticed. That is something that Keith Richards has done and will always be known for.
