Introducing: Phoebe Ray - 'Sky Rocket' (Single)

Phoebe Ray follows on from her previous single, ‘Drops of Bliss’ taken from her debut EP ‘PREP’ with heavenly cosmic pop song,  'Sky Rocket'.
'Sky Rocket' makes a warm galactic introduction for itself balancing synth experimentation and a sunny, playful vibe with melodies so catchy there is no questioning its commercial appeal.

Phoebe's sincere, heavenly vocals are supported by trickling, shimmering production as the lyrics tell an honest, multi-faceted emotional story about, "relishing the transitory and feeling recklessly", embracing a temporary, out of this world, romantic ecstasy.

On the track Phoebe explains: "'Sky Rocket' is more of a midnight burner kind of song. I wanted it to sound understated, like Real Hero by College & Electric Youth, from Drive, which some people have interpreted as not really having much of a climax, which I get, but I like that it’s more of a melodic soundscape kind of tune than an instant hit."

Classically trained, but inclined towards the contemporary, Phoebe Ray is currently working on a new EP - with hints of it being bigger, bolder pop music. She will also be supporting 2010 X Factor winner Matt Cardle on his Intimate & Live UK Tour which begins next week.
