Undoubtedly my favourite track taken from Silk Drop's debut  6-track EP 'Traces', 'Closer' has an allure and mystique about, almost exotic in nature.

Silk Drop is a genre-bending duo spearheaded by beat wizard Isaac Cotec, aka 'Subaqueous' and features vocalist Heather Christie. The duo combines dark synthwork, beautiful violin, vulnerable and sultry vocals and a really gorgeous autoharp to give a peculiar, vivid soundbed to 'Closer - seductive and beguiling and well worth a listen.
