Introducing: One Man Dancing - 'Blank Page' (Single)
It's not always an easy feat to pull off what One Man Dancing have done here - marrying feel-good dance sensibilities with rooted, organic emotion. Opening with beautiful, acoustic instrumentation was a smart move. This makes the first thing the listener connects with be the very bones and heart of the song, drawing an affinity with the sincere lead vocals and the story being told.
As the track develops One Man Dancing expertly add an uplifting indie rock dance rhythm to their soundscape, skillfully playing with dynamics and tempo to reflect the many multi-faceted moods of human emotion, adding a layer of optimism, symbolising change and the desire to start over on a blank page.
Originally the solo project of Argentinian-born producer and multi-instrumentalist Agus Samur, One Man Dancing is now a fully fledged four-piece featuring Javier Ojeda on bass, and Agus' siblings Meri on drums and Andres on guitar. 'Blank Page' marks the first release from their upcoming 10-track album 'Memories of a New Home', due for release in January 2017 and well worth looking out for if this track is anything to go by.
