Introducing: Culver - 'Away' (Single)

LA Based artist Culver releases genre-blurring pop single, 'Away'.

Lofty, smooth vocals soar out of a midtempo beats and gentle guitar lines as Culver introduces us to 'Away'.

As the single unfolds, Culver adeptly weaves together a tapestry of genres, effortlessly moving through rnb influences, and edgy electronic pop before taking the mood into more upbeat territory with the introduction of synth and dig-percussion, reminiscent of The Postal Service.

On the track Culver explans, "'Away' tells the story of a relationship in which I had to let go of someone I loved deeply in order to take back control of my own life... telling this story was painful but some pain demands to be felt, and the more we try to ignore it the more it plants itself in our way."

This is catchy and contemporary fusion-pop with a freshness that sees Culver stand out as an artist to watch for 2017.
