Skindred @ Concorde 2, Brighton 31/01/2017 (Live Review)

Skindred took to the stage for the first of two sold out shows at Brighton's Concorde2. Support came from rock veterans Racing Speedhorn and with the carnage they left behind I'm surprised there was anybody left standing for Skindred.

When Skindred came to the stage they opened with a message a lot of musicians and public figures are sending to the world. They explained how it doesn't matter what you look like or where you come from, stick two fingers up at the world because when you're at a Skindred show, all that matters is that you're at a Skindred show.

This was met with righteous applause before the band proceeded to rinse their back catalogue of hits. I'm pretty sure there were more people on top of the crowd than in it, but on a night that saw 24 hours of rain fall in just 4 hours. I can't think of a better way to dry off!
