Live Review: C.Duncan - Eventim Apollo, London 05/03/2017

When you give C Duncan a listen for the first time, the man has a sense of mystery about him. With hints of ambiance from early Radiohead with a tea spoon of electronica. With tracks like Otherside and Say, that are met with great applause this evening for a crowd that isn't his own as he supports Elbow at Evetim Apollo.

C.Duncan shows off his humble side by thanking the audience and showing his appreciation to the band he is supporting. To support a band like Elbow, who have such a reputation not just as a band but as song writers and quality of songs. Personally I cannot imagine the sort of mind frame you would have to be in to cope with playing before them at their headline show.

But C Duncan manages it.

And it is done with a flawless performance from start to finish, with a huge amount of grace and dignity.
