Introducing: Callum Pitt

Indie-folk newcomer Callum Pitt releases his second single, 'Least He's Happy'.

Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Callum Pitt started the year with the release of his debut single, 'You'd Better Sell It While You Can', unveiling a sound influenced by acts such as The War On Drugs, Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes, quickly winning himself airplay from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, as well as gathering widespread blog coverage.

'You'd Better Sell It While You Can' sees Callum tease between a woozy falsetto and a grittier indie americana vocal performance, as the track builds on its dark piano and breezy folk roots into anthemic indie in the loveliest of ways.

Follow up single, 'Least He's Happy' features some really beautiful finger picking and pure, uplifting, melodies that make you feel alive, weaving lyrics together you can't help but sing along to, debuting more of an upbeat accessible pop sound than its predecessor, yet equal in its appeal.

Callum Pitt is definitely one to keep an eye on this year.
