Live Review: The Cribs: Academy, Manchester 12/05/2017

With a sold out Manchester Academy, everyone in the building were anxious for The Cribs to enter the stage.

With pints flying and people singing and chanting their hearts out, The Cribs lit up the stage with Our Bovine Public, starting their set off with fireworks. With Ryan Jarman patrolling the stage, crowd surfers were being passed from pillar to post; clearly absolutely soaking up the atmosphere... and the beer! The stage filled with smoke, Ryan greeted the crowd, and with that there was a massive raw from the audience and so began the mosh pits and crowd surfing yet again.

Girls Like Mystery began, and with that, approximately three people appeared over my head and right next to me in the photo pit. Buzzing with excitement, they joined the hectic crowd again. The Cribs, bouncing the energy from the crowd back into their performance, then went onto complete the rest of their set with Cribs' anthems such as: "My Life Flashed Before My Eyes", "Be Safe", "Shoot The Poets", "Come On, Be a No-One", to name a few from their set.

The 10th year anniversary of "Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever" was well and truly a big party in Manchester, here's to the 20th year anniversary.
