Festival Preview: Citadel Festival - London's Utopia

London is such a diverse city, filled with so many different cultures and areas, to the point where it is beaming with creativity, from wall to wall. How does a festival reflect such a place? Let us introduce you to London's new creative Utopia: Citadel Festival.

For one day in July, the festival takes over Victoria Park, creating the perfect Sunday for music lovers all round.

Citadel launched in 2015, with the aim of bringing something different to the London festival scene, along side the music adventures it has on offer, the festival can happily boast as it serves up the best food in the city, host lively debates and talks, fashion boutiques, workshops plus loads of family fun.

Stevie Parker

Stevie Parker's music is hypnotic, as she takes you on a journey in each song she performs. As they build and build, you can feel your emotions being drained from your body and thrown back at you in one full swoop.



Laura Marling

Well Laura Marling is quite simply charming. Seeing her on this line up can't help but bring a quiet smile to our faces.



Banfi

It is still quite early one for this band, but they have gained a lot of attention recently and quite quickly too. Mixing sounds of Oh Wonder and Everything Everything, they certainly get our feet shuffling.



Michael Kiwanuka

Michael Kiwanuka put out one of our favourite albums last year with Love & Hate, he has been compared to Marvin Gaye, Otis Reading and even Van Morrison. Certainly one of top picks of the festival.



Foals

The Oxford quintet are hailed as one of the best live acts in the world, and this year seems them taking the reins as headliners at Citadel this year with UK festival exclusive performance.
