Live Review: Loathe - The Exchange, Bristol 30/08/2017
On the back of releasing their debut album ‘The Cold Sun’, Loathe brought a night full of post hardcore infused with tech metal vibes to The Exchange and they brought it hard. TV screens behind them project incredible visuals in time with the music into a room full of darkness. Chunky riffs, crushing screams and melodic cleans get the crowd alive; screaming words back left, right and centre to frontman Kadeem. Their set flows through a mix of harsh and soft, bringing Architects and Black Peaks vibes at the heaviest of times, keeping the crowd on their toes, with a mosh pit opening up at every opportunity. Loathe are on the up from here...
