Band of the Week #0020: Dream Nails

This weeks Band of the Week is London's feminist punk witches, Dream Nails, who have hit us with brand new single 'Tourist', a powerful song about emotionally predatory men who are drawn to women when they’re vulnerable.

Front woman Janey Starling explains “it’s about men who present themselves as a hero but all they really want to do is fetishise sad girls, make them emotionally attached and then abuse that power. We can smell those guys a mile away and they’re creepy.”

Having made a reputation for themselves for their live shows, and supporting bands like Petrol Girls, and Bleached, Dream Nails are certainly going to start a fire when they play their last few dates this year, and with their debut EP 'Dare to Care' coming out on the 27th October with a launch show at DIY Space London. Things are certainly going to get interesting for these guys.

Tourist' is out now and available on Spotify, Deezer and iTunes. Dream Nails’ debut EP 'Dare To Care' is out on 27th October 2017.
