Live Review: Arcane Roots - The Fleece, Bristol 15/10/2017
Post release of their ‘Melancholia Hymns’ album, Arcane Roots took to the road, we caught them in Bristol last week at the Fleece.
Playing a mix of songs from their newest release, intertwined with older tracks, the melodic trio brought their new found heaviness to the set to the crowd's delight. Mosh pits galore with fans gasping along to every word, sung passionately by the band.. ‘Off The Floor’ being one of the heaviest of their tracks injected life into everyone in the crowd, definitely being a favourite among many people.
Finishing with undoubtedly their most popular track, ‘If Nothing Breaks Nothing Moves’, there is a slight sense of need for more tracks in the set with it only being 11 songs long along with a few whispers of “maybe Everything (All at Once)?”. The whole set was incredible but there were a few fans who left wanting just that little bit more.
