Live Review: The Pale White, The Americas & Plastic People - Boston Music Room, London 08/12/17
With a growing reputation in the music industry, The Pale White this trio of Newcastle lads came to the Capital smashing the last show of their 2017 headlining tour. Performing at the Boston Music Room, London, they brought us soul blasting tracks and with support acts including The Americas and Plastic people, which blew the crowd away.
Starting the night with The Americas, these guys certainly got our pulses going with their British indie-rock combination of sounds which gave everyone that Friday feeling. As the group’s set went on, the crowd edged closer and closer to the stage to the point where us photographers fought for a spot, which enabled us to capture the explosive atmosphere from each individual engaging in the music.
Next up taking over the stage was Plastic People, with their trendy fashion sense and rocking music, it wasn’t a show you wanted to miss. With over five thousands listeners on their single ‘Never Let Me Know’ on Spotify, the crowd had no trouble singing along to other tracks on their mind blowing set. Having a pre-hyped crowd warmed up from the first opening act, the audience did not stop there! Hands were in the air and bodies swayed everywhere from the catchy tunes filling their heads.
The final, headline band, the incredible The Pale White. Having featured in NME’s ‘New Music Of The Day’ they are certainly upping their game and have struck a chord with todays generation of rock music fans. Having spent the past couple of years gigging around the North East, they have rapidly emerged themselves into other major cities around the country, including the capital where be the heart of music, London. Their sound is unique and jam-packed with that cutting edge style which perfectly matches their stage positioning and fashion sense. They need not try to please those ticket holders that waited and queued ever so eagerly outside the venue to have their ears drums blown away. It is safe to say these guys were in control, not just of the music but of the crowd and the addictive atmosphere with their dominating stage presence.
They ended their headlining 2017 tour on a high conquering London. The question is, where will they hit next?
