Live Review: Scouting For Girls - O2 Academy, Bristol 04/12/17

Scouting For Girls took to road to celebrate 10 years since their self titled debut album, stopping off at a sold out O2 Academy Bristol along the way.

The British pop rock band took the roof of the venue as they bundled out on stage to an incredible reception of screaming fans. Opening up a chilly night with I Need A Holiday seemed rather fitting, moving through the evening playing tracks from the last 10 years, fans singing along to every word. Lead vocalist, Roy Stride, grabbed a selfie stick from side stage and pranced around stage filming the crowd while singing hit track, Famous, with everyone in the front few rows jumping around trying to get in the iphone video.

The crowd were like no other I’ve seen at the O2 recently, fully in love with the performance they were seeing, and even though they don’t look and sound as good as they did 10 years ago, everyone was having the time of their lives. Ending their set with all time crowd favourite, She’s So Lovely, everyone was dancing around and singing the lyrics back, nobody left without a smile on their face, not bad for a ten year anniversary tour.
