Festival News: Camden Rocks Is Back!

Camden Rocks is back! Going into it's eighth year, the festival once again will be taking over North London with it's multi-venue vibes this June. They have just announced their first wave of bands that have been added to the line up, including Newcastle boys Maximo Park as headliners, the Mercury nominated band will be climax for the festival as they take over London's Koko.

For the first time year, we see post-punkers Public Image Limited (PiL) playing the festival.

“I’ve been trying to book Public Image Limited (PiL) for years so it’s great to finally have them playing Camden Rocks this year,” enthuses event organiser Chris McCormack. “John Lydon and the Sex Pistols are the reason i got into music, easily the biggest influence personally and i’m sure for a lot of bands playing the festival. Public Image Limited (PiL) at the Electric Ballroom on their 40th anniversary is going to be incredible.”

The great thing about Camden Rocks, is that it isn't just about the big names, its about the stars of tomorrow, the next new band that will soon one day headline festivals like Camden Rocks. With bands like Blackwaters, Moses, Carcer City, The Kut, Sisteray, Ducking Punches, and Asylums all sitting nicely on the bill.

The festival takes place on the 2nd of June 2018, tickets can be bought here for £39.50. With over two hundred bands playing over twenty venues.
