Band Of The Week #0031 - Palm Reader

This week's Band of the Week is Surrey hardcore lads Palm Reader, who this week revealed new single ‘Swarm’ taken from their highly anticipated third studio album. ‘Braille’, which will be released April 6th via UK independent label Silent Cult Records.

Formed from the same hardcore scene as Employed to Serve, these lads have been spending the past seven years playing everywhere from major stages in Europe to tiny toilet venues, perfecting their craft as a live band and as songwriters. Their previous material has been a gridlocks of mathematical time signatures, but new single 'Swarm' sees them taking themselves to the next level. Almost atmospheric-ly intelligent. The song comes at you like a face on thunder storm from start to finish.

Beyond this downpour of hardcore brilliance of a new single, the band are heading out on the road soon, and they have quite the reputation as a live band. Brutally destroying any audience with their energy on the stage. Catch them on tour in March when they head out on tour with Rolo Tomassi and Cryptodira.
