Listen: Forever Cult - 'Usurper'
Leeds Quartet Forever Cult are out on tour with their buddies Fizzy Blood, and what a better way to celebrate that fact, by releasing their new track 'Usurper'. The song sees the band returning back on the scene with something beautifully loud and gritty.
“We’ve been quiet for a little while but it’s taken time to develop our sound again. New songs are coming thick and fast in a totally different way to usual. We’re writing all together in a practise room jamming out ideas more than before. It’s really exciting all over again and has really given us a new lease of life”
'Usurper' content is about how a night out escalates, and the track builds in this exact way. Gaining momentum all the way up to the chorus, which erupts into a haze of noise.
