News: The Great Escape - 100 Artists Added
The storm is coming, and no we don't mean the third batch of the Beast From The East, what we mean is Great Escape Festival! With just two months to go until the new music festival takes over Brighton once again. And today is announced one hundred new bands to join it's already fantastic line up!
Brighton's very own The Go! Team will be taking over the beach on the Saturday night as they play the new venue set up this year for the festival. Finnish powerhouse Alma has been added to the line up, who has over 100 million streams already and can tick off a number of celebrity fans off her list such as Annie Mac, MNEK and Charli XCX to name a few. The festival sees a few heavier names appearing on the line up this year, and adding to this we have Milk Teeth, who will certainly bring some mayhem to Brighton! South London rapper Ms Banks will be bringing her unique combination of wordplay and soul to the line up.
The mixture of genres and music styles is always high at the festival, but this year it see's it pushing itself to a personal best.
Festival booker Adam Ryan said: “We’ve been inundated with artists wanting to showcase, more than ever before, the bar has been raised and as a result we’ve curated a line-up of artists who will no doubt set the music agenda for the rest of the year. This year’s festival is going to be the best Brighton has ever seen; with our brand-new beach venue and even more artists to announce in the coming weeks, it’s set to be the biggest year yet.”
