Alternative-Folk three-piece All the Luck in the World speak to us about the visuals for new single 'Contrails'.
Taken from the band's new album 'A Blind Arcade' (out now),  'Contrails' dances through thoughtful lyric with grace and fluidity,  before culminating in a stunning instrumental. 'Contrails' is unequivocally joyful in its entirety.

All the Luck in the World Explains:
Where was the video for 'Contrails' filmed?
It was shot in Deauville, France.

How does the video connect with the song?
I’m not sure it has any obvious connections. The song is loosely about an idea that if people left trails similar to that of a plane, then you would see the points that these “contrails” would crossover. There was no conscious effort between us and director Thomas Vernay to relay this concept in the music video. I think Thomas managed to find something that works with a song that we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves.

Any behind the scenes stories?
We weren’t there, so no stories unfortunately.

Could you tell us about the ideas/ themes/ imagery used?
Honestly, we gave Thomas complete artistic freedom, so we can’t really speak on exactly what he wanted to portray. I guess the overarching theme is the power of nature, while themes of youth and friendship run throughout the video.
