Great Escape Announces 100 more bands to its line up
With only six weeks to go, until we can officially say that festival season is here. The Great Escape Festival has announced one hundred more acts for it's already amazing line up for when it takes over Brighton this May.
One of the coolest bands at the moment, Idles have been added to the line up, and we are sure they will cause a storm with their reputation for mad live shows! LA rockers The Regrettes have also been announced, who will bring their ferocious punk sound to the seafront.

This year is the first year we have an official Power Ranger at Great Escape, Naomi Scott, otherwise known as the Pink Power Ranger from the recent reboot of the movie will be performing. Alongside that, the festival have announced the amazing Soccer Mommy from Nashville will be playing, who has been gaining lots of praise at the moment for her indie-bedroom-jams.
The festival also likes to make sure it supports the local scene in Brighton, and this year they have included Demob Happy and The Magic Gang who will make sure everyone is dancing well into the night. Obviously the genre on everyone's lips at the moment is Grime, it's newest gift is Izzie Gibbs, who will be taking it to the next level with his her energy word play. .
