Electronic singer songwriter Salt Ashes  releases galvanising new single 'GIRLS' via New York based label, Radikal Records.

Generally I'm a hard sell when it comes to enjoying music in the electro pop vein. It's not my most favourite genre of music, but I am a sucker for a dark bass beat and an empowering message from a strong female. This is exactly why I'm digging

Salt Ashes ,'GIRLS', which sends out the very necessary message that a woman should be allowed to wear what she wants and get to know new people platonically on a night out; free from expectations,  and without being sexualised, hit on, or stereotyped.

Co-written with  Born Stranger and produced by Tom Fuller, 'GIRLS' channels a sophisticated dark synthpop sound that has all the markings of a gritty,hypnotic underground dance track. Both edgy yet accessible, Salt Ashes gorgeous, infectious vocal melody and meticulous beats will get stuck in your head long after the track has stopped playing.
