Community Festival announces The Kooks and more for 2019
With the first wave of announcements beginning with the international indie-rock heavyweights The Kooks, it’s safe to say that Community Festival 2019 is back and bigger than ever. After a highly successful two years, Community Festival have kicked off the 2019 festival announcements with flying colours, and to a level that will be hard to beat.
Joining The Kooks at Finsbury Park, London, are none other but Stockport’s own, ‘Blossoms’. Currently on tour and finishing in December, Blossoms will be craving to get back into action at Finsbury.
Also announced are Reading-rockers The Amazons, the hot and upcoming The Academic, and the British indie classic Kate Nash who will be keen to play her new album ‘Yesterday was Forever’. Scottish singer-songwriter, Gerry Cinnamon, is also due to be getting those crowds singing and dancing with his infectious sing-alongs.
Community Fest, being no stranger to championing new and upcoming artists, are also enlisting local London talent Sea Girls and BLOXX, who will be eager to impress the crowds.
Tickets are currently £40 - which, given the already huge line-up, is an absolute bargain.
