Download add more names to their line up!
The closer we get to the end of the year, the closer we get to finding out about which festivals to look forward to for the year ahead. After releasing a solid trio of headliners, last month, Download Festival couldn’t ‘keep it a secret’ and have added more names to their line-up, which is shaping up to be celebrating the old school.
Slayer, one of the most iconic heavy-metal bands, have rightfully chosen the UK’s leading metal festival as the place to play their last ever UK show. Among some of the other big names joining Slipknot, Tool and Def Leppard on August bank holiday weekend, are Smashing Pumpkins, Lamb of God and Eagles of Death Metal.
Never one to shy away from celebrating the weird and wonderful heavier acts will also be performances by the Nashville quartet, Badflower, Whitechapel and Jinjer. Tickets are currently on sale, so make sure you get your hands on one, before they’re all gone!
