Slam Dunk Festival returns with a second round of announcements
Good news for lovers of checked shirts, loud guitars and jumping up and down whilst shouting in a unifying manner: Slam Dunk Festival have released the second wave of acts on their 2019 bill.
Pop-punk giants All Time Low, Bullet For My Valentine and Simple Plan will top the bill, sharing the stage with the likes of Glassjaw, The Menzingers, I Don’t Know How, Knocked Loose, The Get Up Kids, Saves The Day, Tine Moving Parts, and Trophy Eyes.
The annual one-day rock extravaganza will take place on 25th May 2019 at the new and improved location of Temple Newsam Park in Leeds, before travelling south to Hatfield Park in Hertfordshire on 26th May.
Chris Conley of Saves The Day said, “We are so excited to play Slam Dunk next year! It’s always a blast to come overseas and sing Saves songs with all our fans. See You Soon!!!” (three exclamation marks, he must be looking forward to it).
In readiness for All Time Low’s headline slot, Alex Gaskarth of the band has said, “There’s been a bit of an ATL drought in the UK recently so we thought it best to come back and tear shit up with some rad bands. Bring your life jackets.”
In that case pop-punk fans had better ready themselves for a soaking and head over to the Slam Dunk website to buy tickets and stay up to date with further announcements.
