A Day In The Life Of #001 - Frannie B
Oxfordshire based artist Frannie B's unique dark-pop sound has seen her share the stage with pop-powerhouses such as Jessie J and Charlie Dore, and has even provided backing vocals for Supergrass. Frannie takes inspiration from the likes of Halsey and Kehlani to mix pop with RnB influences, and last year she finished up her first UK tour with shows ranging from local venues to playing a support slot at the notable O2 Academy 2 Islington.
Reeling from her recent release 'Let You In', we caught up with Frannie to find out more about her day-to-day!
My Alarm goes off...
When I'm at home my dog acts as my alarm and she wakes me up at about 6:30am.
At 7am. The first thing I do...
Probably put my alarm on snooze for another 20 minutes... But then I'll take my dog out for an early stroll.
My typical day involves…
Lots of writing music, hitting up the gym and a bit of cooking (as well as work and admin of course).
The best part of my day…
Finding time for a rural walk to take time to myself, especially in the winter weather (provided there's no rain...).
The worst part of my day is when…
I forget to bring my phone charger out with me and I can't listen to music on my way home.
At the end of my day I will…
Unwind with an oat milk hot chocolate and bit of Netflix (I'm obsessed with RuPaul).
If I wasn't a musician I'd be a..
I always wanted to be an astronaut but I doubt I'm smart enough... but I think something like a fire fighter would be an amazing and rewarding job!
