Wireless Festival 2019 sold out within hours!
Wireless Festival is one of those festivals that consistently delivers when it comes to line-ups, every year they seem to bring in the best and brightest in the hip-hop/grime/r&b scene and no surprise they’ve done it once more in 2019…
The three-day urban music event is once again being hosted at Finsbury Park, a hub for festivals in the last decade, this year like every year will show off a vast array of the most talked about rappers and DJ’s. This year’s headliners are nothing to joke about, Friday has rap queen Cardi B and hip-hops version of the 3 musketeers Migos co-headlining, while Saturday gets to witness the one and only Travis Scott who will most likely be bringing some of his Astroworld madness to the UK and finally another rap giant, A$AP Rocky will be closing out the Sunday night and the last night of the festival!
Of course a festival can’t just be about the headliners, even with such a incredible 3 bill toppers; the Friday brings Tory Lanez who is renowned for his high octane shows, everyone’s favourite Rak City native Tyga will be treating us to a few tracks, while Fredo and Bugzy Malone will be representing the UK grime scene.
Saturday sees a UK festival exclusive performance from Future which has already been hyped beyond expectation on social media, followed up closely by what seems to be a trio that almost matches the popularity of the headliners! Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug and Juice WRLD will no doubt all have packed crowds and setlists full of the hottest tracks on the planet!! A bit further down the line-up, we see the infamous Trippe Redd who has collabed with everyone from Diplo to headliner Travis Scott and even the late XXXtentasion, his appearance should not be missed; same should go with mud boy himself Sheck Wes who’s bass heavy anthem Mo Bamba has seen him cruise into the mainstream like a heat seeking missile.
The final day has back to back grime with NOT3S and AJ Tracey making an appearance, both artist have had such an incredible year that no doubt it will get even better for both! Bringing some chaos to this summertime party is Ski Mask The Slump God and the insane Denzel Curry, both are going to turn the festival into a warzone during their sets, word of warning; bring a hardhat for these two! Final mention goes to J.I.D who brought out his latest album quite late in the year but that does not mean it was overlooked by any means; being still such an up and coming artist and having a J.Cole feature is an incredible feat!
Wireless Festival looks to be as mental as always, with more acts to still be announced it can only get better, sadly if you haven’t already got your tickets your out of luck as Wireless 2019 has already sold out within a few hours! To be honest it’s no surprise with a line-up like that!
