Top Five Acts to Check Out: Bushstock Festival 2019
It is not long until Bushstock Festival is here, when it takes over the Shepherd’s Bush area of London with some of the top amazing music acts coming onto the scene. With so much to choose from, we thought we would help out with our top five acts to see.
Marsicans
These Leeds chaps have always been firm favorites of ours, so they sit there nicely as one of our top choices of the weekend. With a new single dropping next week, and back to back packed shows at Great Escape and Live At Leeds. Marsicans we think is gonna be the performance of the weekend when it comes to Bushstock. Catch Marsicans at Defectors Weld at 19:45.
Eloise
Eloise has been a breath of fresh air when it comes to her unique storytelling tunes. With her debut EP dropping last month into the world, and is certainly on the rise. So catch her set at Bushstock before she starts to make it big.
Catch Eloise at St Stephen’s Church at 15:00
Miss June
If you like noise, distortion and grunge. Miss June are the band for you.
Catch Miss June at Sindercombe Social at 15:00
On Video
Despite being quite the new band, On Video have got us super excited with their take on indie-punk. Mixing sounds from the likes of The Hives and Idles, if you fancy getting a bit warm midway through your day, then On Video is certainly the band for you.
Catch On Video at Sindercombe Social at 16:00
Mosa Wild
Having just announced a gig in the intimate O’Meara — with only two songs under their belt (released, anyway) in the last three years — Mosa Wild should already be on your radar. Their hauntingly ethereal debut, ‘Smoke’, is nothing short of incredible; husky vocals over a melancholy piano tune and an understated drum beat that still blows me away each time I hear it. Combine that with their only other release, ‘Night’, an addictive blend of musical magic that refuses to let you go, and you have the makings of a band that’s going places. One not to be missed.
Catch Mosa Wild at The Courtyard K West at 17:00
The festival announced last week it’s full schedule, so check out all the set times and stage splits here to help plan your day. Bushstock Festival takes place the 15th June in multiple venues around Shepherd’s Bush in London. You can buy tickets here.
