Kendal Calling 2019: Top Five Acts To Check Out

Kendal Calling have pulled it out the bag again! It’s fair to say that the line up is looking massive, with lots of hidden gems amongst the big names. The heavily varied line up includes more than just music, with a comedy stage, arts and culture, Tim Peaks Diner and the Lost Eden providing more immersive experiences across the weekend. 

We’re putting the big names, special guests, headliners and the common theme of 2007 indie era bands aside to bring you a list of five acts not to be missed at this years Kendal Calling!


Zuzu 
Recently touring with Sunday night headliners, Courteeners, Zuzu is winning fans by the day. Her powerful indie-pop vocals make her Sunday afternoon performance on the Calling Out Stage one not to be missed!


Calva Louise
We’re big fans of Calva Louise here at WTHB and we want to share that with you! If you haven’t already seen their ferocious live set then now is the perfect chance. Catch them on Friday playing on the Woodlands Stage.


Slowthai
As one of Britain’s newest hyped artists and recently being announced as support for Liam Gallagher’s arena tour, Slowthai is about to get some new fans! Be sure to check out his set on the Calling Out Stage on Saturday to see what you’ve been missing out on.


Sophie and the Giants
Sunday afternoon on the Calling Out Stage brings you another one of our favourites, be sure not to miss Sophie and the Giants with their super fun indie-pop vibe.


Queen Zee
One of the most exciting new bands on the scene at the minute, make sure you conserve some energy for Queen Zee performing at the House Party on Sunday. We’re sure you won’t regret it!
