Slam Dunk offers a glimmering lineup!

Slam Dunk turns 15 next year and, despite the mess that 2020 has become, offers a glimmering lineup to look forward to.

Slam Dunk returns! An incredible first line-up announcement reveals the survivors of the Corona Culling of the festival circuit; the many, many bands who have thankfully signed on for a second innings at Hatfield and Leeds. Headliners Sum 41 and Don Broco had already been confirmed, but we are pleased to announce that the other headliners are also locked in: The Wonder Years, Bury Tomorrow, While She Sleeps, Young Guns — graciously still playing ‘All Our Kings Are Dead’ — and, of course, NOFX on the delightfully disreputable Punk in Drublic stage. Along with these comes Billy Talent, State Champs, The Used, The Story So Far, Code Orange, Motion City Soundtrack and so many more huge names.

Moreover, the two huge reunions are still taking place, with We Are The In Crowd and Your Demise sure to smash it on the Slam Dunk stages!

The line-up list of near 60-names truly does have something for everyone. For the metal lovers comes horror aficionados Ice Nine Kills, or the Harrogate Hardcore punks of Blood Youth, along with many more; the punk side is well and truly represented too, with Pennywise, Reel Big Fish, or Me First and The Gimme Gimmes. There’s Mayday Parade or Roam for your emotional pop punk; Normandie, The Faim, or Vukovi for your hard hitting rock. There’s even something for Pokémon fans, given Free Throw now have multiple references to the beloved series — my personal favourite is Cerulean City. There are bands from all over the globe, spanning countless genres and sounds — each and every one is sure to be amazing.

Nearly every band from 2020’s lineup has been announced to return for 2021, although any not on this poster are sadly unable to return. The Impericon Stage seems to have been hit particularly hard: Polaris, for instance, are nowhere to be seen. Nor are Fit For A King, or We Came As Romans. But new additions are on their way, and are sure to spell an iteration of Slam Dunk better than ever before!!

Plus, Don Broco, Issues and Dance Gavin Dance on the same festival line-up. Does this mean that Slam Dunk will be getting a fully fledged Action? Book your tickets now to find out!
