Eli Moon - 'Phases'

Following emotive masterpiece ‘killmeinmysleep’, Eli Moon returns with stunning new single ‘Phases’. 

With this new single, Eli Moon picks up the tempo. Where ‘killmeinmysleep’ was pensive and quiet, ‘Phases’ thrills with big beats and infectious rhythms. Its soaring chorus could almost be mistaken for euphoria, if it wasn’t for Eli’s hard-hitting lyricism - “What if it never changes? What if it’s feelings we’re too scared to show? Do we fill these empty spaces, or do we just keep chasing all we know?” Taken from his upcoming EP set for release later this year, ‘Phases’ captures Eli’s knack for creating wonderfully immersive soundscapes and filling them with the purest forms of emotion. 

Talking about the track, he reveals: “My biggest fear is being stuck in a situation where I have no power to affect it. It's not a quiet feeling, it's not a creeper... I wake up one day and there it is; the gut wrenching need to scrap everything and start all over. I suppose life does happen in phases, which is why it's important to understand that no situation lasts forever, and there is never a situation where you have no power to affect it, but I wanted to capture this emotion in a song, so that I have it forever and can always use it in times where I need to be reminded of this.”
