Festival News: Electric Picnic announce another 40+ acts joining their 2026 line-up
Electric Picnic announce another 40+ acts joining their 2026 line-up, including the likes of Wolf Alice, DJO and JADE.
Ireland’s largest, most established music festival, Electric Picnic, which is held down in Stradbally Hall, Co. Laois, has announced another 40+ Irish and International acts set to take to the stage on the last weekend of August, 28th - 30th.
Having already announced a selection of acts earlier in the year, including two of their headliners, Fontaines D.C. and Gorillaz, the Electric Picnic organisers have now confirmed their Friday night headliner will be the indie-pop star, Sombr.
Other big acts added to the bill include Wolf Alice, who are making a welcome return to Stradbally, as well as everyone’s favourite IT girl, JADE. DJO, a.k.a. Joe Keery, is also making a very welcome appearance at the festival, along with British hip-hop musician Loyle Carner. They’ll be playing across the weekend alongside previously announced acts, the Queen of Ireland, CMAT, New York’s finest Geese, as well as Zara Larsson and Wunderhorse.
Those looking for a good old dance in the fields of Stradbally Estate can look forward to the likes of Duke Dumont, Obskür and Ben Hemsley, who have all been added to the lineup. While Electric Picnic is great at bringing in International acts, the festival also focuses on the homegrown talent coming out of Ireland. Dublin post-punk band Gurriers are returning to Electric Picnic alongside The Mary Wallopers and The Saw Doctors. Folk-rock band The Scratch are sure to set the fields of Stradbally alight with their fiery sound, while the folk band currently taking the music scene by storm, Madra Salach, will undoubtedly draw in a large crowd. Other Irish favourites include Cliffords, Florence Road and Bleech 9:3.
One of the best ways to close out a summer of festivals is by heading to Electric Picnic, which has so much more to offer than just music, with incredible comedy lineups, theatre shows, art and holistic health also on offer. There is something for everyone at this end-of-summer party, and this latest lineup announcement is proof of that.
