Single: Suzerain - 'Always'

Taken from London-based five piece Suzerain's new album ‘Identity’, 'Always' is fuelled by guitar parts full of intrigue, driving drums, and double tracked vocals which are just different enough to add a mesmeric feel.

'Always' features a great chorus with a great hook that any live audience will hypnotically repeat. Personally, though, I don't think the choruses kicks in quite enough, but this is definitely for the better - this is an accessible industrial track for fans of Bowie and Nine Inch Nails alike.

Talking about the song, frontman Tom Pether explains “‘Always’ is about being seen and viewed by other people: the feeling of being exposed to the world, set to a strange kind of disco, and with a lot of harmonies! It was the last song written for the album and came together really quickly. The last ones always seem to”.
