East London based duo The New Coast invite us to 'Slow Down' in new atmospheric indie pop offering.

While currently in the midst of a freakish heatwave here in London, now is the perfect time to talk about The New Coast's new single, 'Slow Down'. As the summer heat lingers on well past its usual stay scorching headstrong into Autumn, we are only reminded of the changing of season by the increasingly early evenings.

'Slow Down' begs of warm lingering summers resonating from the depths of twanging Americana influenced instrumentation, while simultaneously painting a starry, shimmering night sky in its subtle synth.

Swaying leisurely with 80's nostalgia before building into somewhat of an anthem, 'Slow Down' paints a dreamy and heartfelt picture, desperately trying to hold on to the dissipating warmth of a setting sun.

'Slow Down' is taken from the  The New Coast's upcoming  EP ‘Paraga Beach’ due out 4th November via LAB Records and  was produced by David Goodes, whose previous work include KYKO’s much coveted 'Animals' EP and smash single ‘Native.
