The Swoons - 'Marilyn' (feat. Johann Beach)

Electro-pop music duo The Swoons drop their latest track, 'Marilyn' (feat. Johann Beach).

Boston duo The Swoons ( Matt Underwood and Tony Ann)  stole our hearts last summer when they released their single,' Sabre' a subtle yet progressive blend of electronic and pop that had us singing their praises for the sophisticated way the track was executed. It's really great to see the duo return with new track 'Marilyn' featuring the soothing and glowing vocals of Hawaiian singer Johann Beach and carrying the same sense of mystery and intrigue as its predecessor.

The Swoons have this dreamy way of combining dark and mellow textures in an understated yet wholly effective way. 'Marilyn' makes use of spine tingling syncopated piano lines and chorus guitars, giving an ambient and shivery soundscape for Johann Beach's vocals to lead us through a dark and romantic journey along Hollywood Boulevard and through a maze of Marilyn Monroe inspired imagery.

Currently The Swoons are working on material for their debut EP with LA based producer Deafkulture due out in late spring. In addition to the EP, Tony from the duo will be touring with The Chainsmokers on their upcoming 2017 North American Tour 'Memories: Do Not Open' on keys so it looks like a very exciting year is ahead of this very talented outfit.
