Live Review - Gnarwolves - The Joiners, Southampton 19/05/2017

There was no sign of fatigue from Gnarwolves as they come towards the end of their extensive European tour in support of their latest album release 'Outsiders'. Opening up their 45 minute set with their top hit off the new album, Straitjacket, the crowd instantly burst into chorus, singing along to every word. Old school tracks, 'History is Bunk' and 'We Want The Whip', from earlier albums sent the sold out Joiners crowd clambering up on stage and diving in every direction possible, along with a lot of beer too!

Gnarwolves - The Joiners, Southampton - 19/5/17

The band and crowd bounced words back off each other all night long, only stopping to start a conversation about Southampton having a wall with a hell of a lot of holes in it. Newer tracks from the Outsiders release all went down a treat but 'Wires' was a favourite of the rowdy crowd. Finishing off their electric set with an encore, including 'Bottle to Bottle' which had the crowd screaming the words back. Nobody wanted the night to end and who could blame them? Gnarwolves smashed a full set of energetic punk tracks, an incredible night for all.
