The Band Explains: Inner Tongue - 'Underworld'

Earlier on in the year, Inner Tongue  revealed ‘Underworld’, the first single taken from his forthcoming debut album and took some time out to speak to us about the song's conception.
'Underworld' is a glorious 3 minutes and 44 seconds of melodic guitar pop and gleaming electronics, transfixing in its entirety.

Inner Tongue Explains:
"'Underworld' was written on the acoustic guitar and quickly became a song in our live set for the Ghostpoet tour. The instrumentation I had worked out with my band was somewhat inspired by Stranger Things, with the Prophet 08 arpeggio in the intro. Also the repeating part at the end changed quite a bit. We used to sing "love" back then and felt so cheesy."
