NEWS: Slam Dunk Festival announces first wave of bands
With the year coming to a close, and all the tours coming to a finish for 2017, there is now that thing that comes into everyone's mind. FESTIVAL SEASON 2018!
Today Slam Dunk Festival announced the first six bands to play their festival next year, when they take over three cities over a May Bank Holiday weekend. Legends Jimmy Eat World have been announced at the main headliners, which sees the festival constantly surprising us with it's headline choices. When you go from Panic to Shikari to Jimmy over the past three years, they certainly like to keep their audience on their toes.
Performing alongside them, the festival have announced Taking Back Sunday, Sleeping With Sirens, pop punk powerhouse State Champs, Four Year Strong and Trash Boat. Most notable change this year, sees the Slam Dunk South location move to Hatfield Park, hopefully to see the festival grow, which means a bigger line up in the working (Fingers crossed).
This is the first of many line up announcements for the festival, but this is the first wave before tickets go on sale on Friday 17th November at 9am.
Slam Dunk Festival takes place in Leeds on the 26th May, Hatfield on the 27th May and Birmingham on the 28th May. And you will be able to buy your tickets here.
