Liverpool's Cavalry shares stirring new cut, 'Black', out now via Fierce Panda.

Following on from 'Heresy', 'Black' is the second single to be revealed from Cavalry's upcoming debut EP, 'See The Night Perform' and shows a slightly different side to the band, seeing them shift more focus on ambient, folk rock textures and strip away the brooding yet upbeat, indie folk rhythm we saw on 'Heresy'.

'Black' is initially a slow burning song, understated in its first half, yet by no means underwhelming. Lead singer Alan's blackened vocal croons alongside distorted guitarwork, teasing their listener up to the track's bold, cinematic, psych-nuanced layers. It's nice to note that the band pull on the previous dreamy/ otherworldy influences of 'Heresy' in its textures, while displaying a less fragile and wholly intimate sound.
