Introducing: Shields

UK metalcore lads, Shields, announced last week that they have signed to Long Branch Records, with their first single 'It's Killing Me' to be released by the label coming out this Friday on the 26th January.

The band have been a dominant force on the metalcore scene for a number of years now, having formed in 2012 and since they started they have toured aggressively, gaining new fans wherever they went. Then their second EP 'Guilt' was released in 2015, and it has sent them on journey that includes tours of Europe with the likes of Born Of Osiris, Chelsea Grin, Ice Nine Kills and Veil Of Maya, plus many more.

'It's Killing Me' is the band's first song in three years, and certainly lays down the foundations on what we have to come from these guys this year. They are currently on the road with Escape The Fate, and with an album in the pipeline and all their extensive touring, it looks like 2018 is going to be the year for Shields
